Owners of vintage vehicles normally do not use their vehicles every day. Most of the time these vintage vehicles are kept in the garage or covered up, this is because these vehicles are more than just machines to get you from A to B, they are seen as worshiped possessions. These vintage vehicles are so worshiped they only generally get used on those hot summer days, but with the English weather these are not very common and often interrupted by sudden rain storms. There is a material that can be moulded into replacement wiper blades and works better than rubber at clearing rain and dirt from wind shields, as well as being resistant to the cold, UV radiation and chemicals, this material is extruded silicone. With extruded silicone able to operate in temperatures as low as -60° C and up to 250° C they can operate happily in even the coldest of our British winters. They also have other advantages over rubber performance wiper blades as frequently silicone wiper blades will last 3 to 5 times longer. They also offer smoother and quieter operation, which means squeak free windscreenwipe time and time again. Silicone performance wiper blades are frequently a little more dear than traditional rubber wiper blades, but with their advantages in smooth and quiet operation over their longer life, any extra costwill soon be made back without even yet considering the advantages of them being extreme resistant to the cold, UV radiation, ozone and chemicals like salt and windshield wash.
